There is a rumor that the Central Authority or the Dept of State will accept agencies to register to conduct Guatemala adoptions soon. I don't know if it is true but plan to contact the Dept of State next week.

YES we are still waiting. Hanging in there. Our plan was to be able to bring Mari home by now. But obviously, there is a different plan for us. We are crossing our fingers that things will start moving and be able to submit paperwork before our dossier expires in July 2009.
We are also waiting for our agency to be accredited which is the most important part at this point. IF they do not get their accreditation we will have to start over with a new agency.
Pray for all these people to get their acts together and bring these babies home!
