Stay busy!!

Well with the unknowns of the adoption and the "winter blues" of WNY our days seem to drag. Our Social Worker and friend Heather has given us the advice to stay busy. "Things will work out."
So this last weekend we went to a comedy club with Bob and our friends Shannon and Nathan,we all had a really good time. Next weekend we are having Aunt Jo and Reg up to visit.

running wolf We booked 2 nights with THE GARF'S at the Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio, March 19-21!!

Anyone who wants to make plans to help our time pass, would be welcomed.
Each day gets us closer to bringing our little one home. Soon we will look back at this time and realize it was all worth it! But for now we are,

Good job! I know it sounds almost impossible to try to focus on the other parts of your life right now, but as a mother and someone who has worked with adoptive families for a long time I can tell you that when the baby comes you'll say, "why didn't we do ___ when we had the time!!!" Enjoy going out with Kurt while you can and have a great time on your weekends away :)

The Miracle of Adoption
"We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time and miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands."
